About ten years ago, I worked an accident in which the driver was fatally injured.  One passenger was seriously injured and the third, basically unhurt.  I was working with the third, when he ask about the driver.  As he was trying to hide his rolling papers he told me that he hoped the driver was ok because his dad had just died yesterday and they had snuck him out of the house for some "drinks" to get his mind off it.  His mother did not even know he left.
